Services for Individuals

Evaluation and Training Center / Vocational Training Center Programs include:

  1. Vocational Development
This program helps individuals who are capable of working at a job with minimal supports. Vocational Development includes job readiness, vocational training, work experience, job placement and job follow-up support services. The majority of referrals are made by the North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
  2. Day Supports
This program provides day services to individuals who have significant vocational needs and require more support than individuals served in Vocational Development. Individuals receive vocational training and work experience through real work projects and also on worksites in the business community. The work performed is compensated based on performance using Dept. of Labor standards. Referrals are usually made through the North Dakota Department of Human Services Developmental Disability case management system.
  3. Supported Employment
Job Placement with jobsite training and supports provided by a job coach for persons who require more support to succeed on the job. Referrals are made through the North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
  4. Extended Services
These are on-going support services provided to an individual after they have acclimated to their job. Extended Services typically follows Supported Employment or Vocational Development for long-term support to help the individual keep their job.
  5. Direct Job Placement
Referrals are made directly from N.D. Vocational Rehabilitation to our agency for assistance in obtaining employment for individuals outside of our facility who only require some basic service in their job search. They may have some barrier(s) to employment that do not require much intervention or support.
